Job summary

Instacart is seeking a senior leader to own legal operations, strategy, and technology enablement. You will build and scale the operations team, deploy AI-enabled tooling, and own end-to-end system integrations across CLM, ERP, and finance stacks.

The role focuses on driving efficiency, accountability, and measurable KPIs while aligning with business goals and compliance requirements. Flexible work arrangements are supported.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in legal operations, strategy & operations, with ownership of a legal ops program.
• At least 3 years of direct people management experience and leadership of teams.

Responsibilities

• Build a high-performing legal operations team with clear direction and KPIs.
• Lead an AI enablement program, evaluate tools, deploy AI workflows and upskill the team.
• Drive Go-To-Market, CPQ, and Ironclad workflow initiatives across the org.
• Implement cross-system integrations with CLM, ERP, and finance solutions.
• Establish governance, budgeting, and spend reporting for legal ops.
• Develop knowledge management and KPI dashboards for leadership visibility.
