Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Director Anti-Fraud, North America (2LOD/subject-matter expert) to guide fraud risk management across US and Canada. You will support Global Head of Anti-Fraud and align efforts with regulatory standards in insurance and asset management.

Role emphasizes collaboration with technology, information security, compliance, legal, and audit teams to strengthen fraud monitoring programs and governance across all markets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Financial Crime or Fraud risk management.
• Design, develop, and implement large-scale risk management systems and processes.
• Global financial institution experience is advantageous.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence business processes and outcomes.
• Experience in regulatory engagement and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of a North America fraud risk management strategy.
• Utilize fraud detection and prevention technologies to strengthen capabilities.
• Embed Fraud Risk Management across business segments and regions.
• Drive standardization, automation, and crisis management across markets.
• Engage regulators and industry groups to influence the fraud risk landscape.
• Identify and recommend changes to reduce fraud risk across units.
