Job summary

emergiTEL is seeking a Head of Planning and Management Control (Financial Services) based in Montreal, reporting to CFO Americas. You will lead financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting across the Americas, guiding a 9-person team across multiple locations.

Qualifications include 10–15 years in FP&A or financial reporting, strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and Essbase. Experience leading teams and delivering insights to senior management is essential.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in FP&A, management control or financial reporting.
• Experience leading teams, ideally across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budget and quarterly/monthly forecasts for Head Office.
• Oversee monthly P&L analysis and dashboards for senior management.
• Review variances and provide insights for decisions.
• Manage regional expenses, allocations and bonus accruals.
• Lead, coach and develop the team, improve tools and processes.
