Head Cashier

Location: Enderby, BC

• Work setting: Rural area, On site
• Salary: $23.50 per hour, 35 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Work hours: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 2 years

Responsibilities

• Assign sales workers to duties
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Order merchandise
• Authorize return of merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Sell merchandise
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
• Resolve issues, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers (3-4 people)
