Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the centre of everything you do.

SUMMARY:

Maintain excellent customer service and checkout area

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Provide excellent customer service and positively engage with all customers
• Maintain a neat and organized checkout area
• Greet all customers with a warm demeanor
• Accurately scan or enter product data
• Account for cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions accurately
• Ask for the customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction

MERCHANDISING:

• Ensure proper documentation regarding receipts and returns
• Merchandise and maintain designated areas (facing, signing, labeling, etc.)

LOSS PREVENTION:

• Follow loss prevention standards
• Control cash, lottery, and stamp inventory

GENERAL:

• Present a professional image in accordance with Uniform Policy and Dress Code
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Adhere to store policies and procedures
• Maintain housekeeping and store image standards
• Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good planning, judgment, and decision-making skills
• Ability to balance teamwork and efficiency
• Organized and neat
• Efficient in processing customer transactions

EXPERIENCE:

• Strong computer and register skills
• Well-organized with good record-keeping abilities
• Detail-oriented
