Fort McKay Group of Companies LP is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator - Haul Truck for a project-based role north of Fort McMurray, AB, Canada. The role requires operating mining haul trucks safely, completing pre-shift checks, and following supervisory directions to adapt to site conditions.
Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Class 5 license, 3 years of clean driving history, and 1–3 years in mining/construction with haul trucks.

Summary:
Under the direction of the General Foreman, theHeavy Equipment Operator - Haul Truck Operator is responsible for the operation of a mining/off-highway truck in a safe, productive, and efficient manner on a mining site or Civil Construction worksite according to the scope of the project and the work being performed. The operator will also keep clean and maintain the equipment and comply with all policies and procedures in the operation and securement of the equipment. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires completion of pre-employment/pre-access testing.

This is a temporary, project based position located north of Fort McMurray, AB, on the Syncrude Aurora site.
Work schedule is 14 days on, 7 days off; days and nights. 11.5 hour shift.
Overtime: Provided after 8 hours in a day or 44 hours in a week.
