Job summary

Fort McKay Group of Companies is seeking a Haul Truck Operator north of Fort McMurray, AB. This safety‑sensitive role requires pre‑employment testing and possible client training, with a 6 on/6 off schedule and 12‑hour shifts.

You will operate heavy equipment, perform pre‑op checks, maintain trucks, and comply with site policies while ensuring reliable, steady performance and safety on location.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience operating Caterpillar heavy equipment is required.
• Oil and Gas industry experience is an asset.
• Valid class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract is required.
• CSO/BSO or CSTS/OSSA training is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to move, load and unload materials.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and keep equipment clean.
• Work shift rotations; days and nights.
• Report damage to Team Leader and adhere to site regulations.
