Job summary

Fort McKay Group of Companies LP is seeking a Haul Truck Operator to manage equipment operations safely and efficiently on the Fort McMurray site. You will perform pre-operation checks, maintain the vehicle, and ensure compliance with on-site policies.

This safety-sensitive role requires pre-employment testing and potential client training or competency assessment. Overtime is available after 8 hours in a day or 44 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of heavy equipment operation experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
• CSO/BSO or CSTS/OSSA training is required.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to move, load and unload materials.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and keep the truck clean.
• Work shift rotations; days and nights.
• Comply with all road regulations on site.
• Report any damage to the Team Leader.
