Fort McKay Group of Companies LP seeks a Utility Heavy Equipment Operator to manage equipment safely and efficiently on a Civil Construction site north of Fort McMurray, AB. The role requires completion of pre-employment testing and may include client training and a competency assessment.

Key tasks include operating dozers, excavators, and loaders; performing checks and basic maintenance; and following directions from the Team Lead and Shift Supervisor.

Qualificações

• Ability to speak, write and read English is required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• CSO, BSO or OSSA certification is required.
• Experience operating heavy equipment on civil construction sites is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate articulated truck, dozer, excavator, or loader safely and efficiently on civil construction worksites.
• Perform pre-operational and post-operational checks and basic maintenance as required.
• Take directions from Team Lead or Shift Supervisor and adapt to on-site conditions.
• Participate in toolbox talks and contribute safety suggestions.
• Notify Team Lead/Shift Supervisor of any equipment maintenance needs.
• Maintain a safe disposition at all times and ensure client site safety.
• Comply with client policies and site requirements at all times.
