SUNVIEW FARMS in Canada is seeking a farm worker to perform a variety of tasks in a rural, outdoor setting. The role involves guiding shoots, harvesting seedlings, soil fertility work, and ensuring safety and bio-security procedures are followed.

The position requires 1 year to less than 2 years of experience and education at College/CEGEP level or equivalent. Work is on site in a rural area with a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Education includes College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions
• Harvest seedlings
• Soil fertility programs
• Assist in farm safety and bio-security procedures
• Provide crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
• Coordinate and supervise farm workers and labourers
• Maintain production records
• Hire and train staff
• Perform general farm duties
• Cut horticultural crops
