Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers
• Clean the crops
• Clear brush and debris from fields, pens and work areas
• Clear fields of wood and stones
• Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable vs non-marketable lots
• Grade vegetables and fruits by size, shape and color
• Hand harvest vegetables
• Harvest seedlings
• Level earth to fine grade
• Mix fertilizers
• Monitor water lines, airflow and temperature in barns
• Pack fruits and vegetables

• Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.
