Matrox is currently seeking a Hardware Technician for its Video Division. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about hardware design, enjoys working in a team and wants to deliver high quality products to our customers.


Responsibilities

- Assist engineer with bring-up, debug and validation of prototypes;
- Manage lab test stations (configuration, reboot, connectivity, ...)
- Measure signal quality and verify performance;
- Perform thermal, environmental and vibration tests;
- Research and validate second sources;
- Write test and validation reports;
- Prepare systems for electromagnetic certification and resolve any problems encountered;
- Develop software (programs and scripts) and hardware (test circuits) tools to validate products;
- Provide production support.


Requirements

- DEC in electronics, electrical engineering or computer systems technology;
- Knowledge of electronic design (high-speed digital circuit, analog circuit);
- Advanced and structured debugging skills;
- Proficiency with laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer and specialized equipment);
- You have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team;
