Job summary

Giatec Scientific Inc. is seeking a hands-on Customer Success and Solutions Specialist to anchor the hardware side of customer operations.

You will manage the deployment cadence, inventory health, and reporting for on-going deployments across customer accounts, with AI-enabled tools integrated into daily workflows. You will coordinate shipments, maintain multi-location inventory, and back up the Inventory & Logistics Manager during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on shipping/receiving, inventory control, freight handling, or warehouse operations.
• Post-secondary training in shipping/receiving, inventory control, freight handling, or warehouse operations, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Direct experience preparing international shipping and customs documentation.
• Experience maintaining inventory across multiple locations, including inter-site transfers.
• Working knowledge of an ERP or inventory management system; comfort with transactional accuracy.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and couriers, selecting service levels by cost and urgency.
• Process domestic and international shipments and prepare required documentation (invoices, HS codes, Incoterms, origin certificates).
• Package and prepare customer orders, inter-site transfers, and materials for shipment.
• Receive and verify incoming materials against PO; flag discrepancies for resolution.
• Track shipments, follow up on delays, process returns and warranty shipments; manage inventory movement.
• Maintain accurate inventory records across Ottawa and US locations, and at contract manufacturers.
• Repack and kit raw materials for shipment to contract manufacturers; ensure on-schedule delivery.
• Execute inventory transfers between locations including cross-border documentation.
• Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, assist reconciliations; support period-end reporting.
• Work with Sales, Accounting, Engineering, suppliers, and carriers as required.
• Act as backup for Manager, Inventory & Logistics during vacations/peaks.
