Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
• Experience creating manufacturing drawings with attention to tolerances and clear documentation.
• Ability to participate in design reviews and communicate technical decisions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and detailed designs for custom industrial equipment
• Create 3D models, fabrication drawings, assemblies, and BOMs using SolidWorks
• Design conveyors, guarding, frames, platforms, and mechanical assemblies
• Select components such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, belting, and hardware
• Visit customer sites to gather project information and take measurements
• Independently estimate projects
• Review designs for manufacturability, serviceability, safety, and cost
• Revise drawings based on production and customer feedback
• Support purchasing, fabrication, assembly, and installation
