Job summary

One Degree Organic Foods is seeking a HACCP Coordinator to join our Quality Assurance team in British Columbia. You will help develop training, ensure procedures are followed, and support audits, with a focus on HACCP, BRC, FSMA, and related standards.

You will collaborate across departments to analyze risks, drive corrective actions, and improve food safety programs while maintaining organized, scalable processes in a growing company.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards (HACCP Certificate).
  • Working knowledge of GFSI standards and current government regulations.
  • Solid computer skills including MS Office.
  • Knowledge in hazard analysis, risk assessment, internal auditing, and food safety training employees.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement programs and training plans for HACCP, BRC, FSMA & other quality standards.
  • Conduct risk analysis and work collaboratively to solve quality issues leading with appropriate actions.
  • Prepare and execute audit schedule including all necessary actions for successful completion.
  • Ensure alignment with procedures & policies by updating and monitoring SOPs, orientation training, and more.
  • Support new product development and lead daily GMPs walkthroughs in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Position: HACCP Coordinator Reports to: QA Manager

We are looking for a HACCP Coordinator to join our Quality Assurance team! Our HACCP Coordinator will collaboratively work through issues, develop training plans for programs, ensure procedures are properly carried out related to quality, and more.

Experience
  • You have a Degree in Food Science or equal/relevant education
  • You have 3 or more years working in a similar role
Nice-to-Have
  • You have some experience working in a manufacturing facility
  • GFSI & PCQI certification is an asset
