Qualifications

• Two-year apprenticeship in front desk operations or hotel management preferred.
• At least 1 year of front desk experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service and people management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Opera/Opera Cloud.
• Full-time and part-time roles available.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, welcoming environment for guests.
• Check guests in and out of the hotel.
• Luggage assistance and room access delivery.
• Issue room keys, pamphlets, discount cards, etc.
• Answer inquiries from guests via phone, email and in person.
• Book telephone reservations and process guest payments.
• Count and verify cash, shift activity, keys and reports every two hours.
• Maintain a tidy front desk area and stock needed items.
• Refer inquiries to appropriate departments and present a positive image to visitors.
• Provide information about activities and observe security issues to report.
