Job summary

Matrix Hotel Edmonton is seeking a Guest Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. You will change towels, make beds, and clean bathrooms to ensure rooms are spotless and welcoming for guests.

You will also assist guests with queries, keep rooms well-stocked, and uphold our standards of cleanliness and guest comfort. Flexibility across days, evenings, and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of housekeeping or cleaning experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible shifts including days, evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest rooms by changing towels, making beds and cleaning bathrooms.
• Ensure rooms are fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times.
• Address guests’ queries and provide helpful information as needed.
• Contribute to a pleasant, comfortable and memorable guest experience during the stay.
• Support team with other housekeeping tasks as required

Here is what you will be doing each day:

As our Guest Room Attendant, you will be working with our Housekeeping team to maintain our guest rooms by changing towels, making beds and cleaning bathrooms. You will also address guests’ queries and make sure our rooms are fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times. Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant, comfortable and memorable experience for our guests during their stay with us.

You have a keen eye for detail, and respect the importance that impeccably clean guest room have in a hotel. You don’t shy away from physical work and can lift linen bundles that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
