Job summary

River Cree Resort & Casino in Canada is seeking a structured Server to deliver prepared foods and drinks to Tap 25 guests, spending substantial time with them during their stay. The server will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure a smooth dining experience.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in a dining establishment.
• AGLC – Proserve/Protect preferred.
• Basic math skills for verifying cash receipts.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Flexible availability for shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tables or counters for meals.
• Stock service area with supplies (e.g. coffee, glassware).
• Greet customers, present menus and assist with menu selection.
• Inform customers about daily specials.
• Record orders and relay to kitchen and bar.
• Pick up and serve orders.
• Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and address issues.
• Suggest and serve desserts/beverages.
• Clean and re-set tables.
• Present bills for payment.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
