Job summary

Denny's in Colwood, BC is seeking a Service Co-ordinator (Food Service Supervisor) to oversee 15-20 crew members and run the restaurant in the absence of management while upholding Denny's service and quality standards.

You will supervise shifts, monitor guest flow, and ensure proper staffing and guest satisfaction. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with a Management Food Safety Certification and strong English communication abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with Management Food Safety Certification.
• Completion of all e-learning job code modules.
• Strong English communication, both spoken and written.
• Team player with excellent guest service and people skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shifts by leading hourly staff to meet brand standards.
• Coordinate restaurant activities by monitoring guest flow.
• Track sales, hours and guest counts to ensure proper staffing.
• Conduct shift walkthroughs and take corrective actions as needed.
• Communicate issues to management and uphold policies and procedures.
• Support the team to achieve total guest satisfaction; perform other duties as assigned.
