Job summary

Denny's Canada in Langley is hiring a Server to greet guests, seat diners, and take orders with a warm, professional manner. You will help deliver food and beverages, answer questions about the menu, and ensure guests leave satisfied.

The role requires strong English communication, a willingness to work late nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Training and mentorship are provided to help you grow in a fun, fast-paced environment.

What We Are Hiring

As a Server, you are the face of Denny's. You will be greeting, seating, and serving our guests in a friendly and courteous manner. You will help by taking and delivering food and beverage orders, anticipating the needs of our guests, suggesting our meal items, receiving payments, and assisting other staff as needed. Our goal is to provide total guest satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• You will create a welcoming and quality experience for our guests
• You will ensure accurate and efficient service

Who You Are

• You are an effective communicator in English, both orally and in writing
• You are a team player, collaborative and attentive
• You can work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends
• You have excellent guest service and people skills
• You are self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask effectively
• You have basic math skills (e.g. add, subtract, multiply and divide)
• You can lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs
• You can stand and walk throughout a 4 to 8 hour shift
• You must be able to legally work in Canada (as a citizen, resident or holding other current and valid work permit)
