Job summary

Impact Kitchen in Toronto is hiring a Guest Experience Team Lead (GETL) to elevate hospitality standards. You will train and coach team members, ensure top-notch guest interactions, and collaborate with Culinary Experience peers to deliver exceptional service.

Key opportunity to progress toward Restaurant Assistant Manager as you lead by example. Role requires 1-5 years of leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts.
• Willingness to work days, evenings and weekends as business requires.
• Commitment of 5 days per week and 30-40 hours per week.
• General understanding of food safety and public health practices.
• 1–5 years of team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Leading and training the Guest Experience Team.
• Ensuring a best-in-class experience for new hires and during training.
• Overseeing beverage preparation to menu and customer specs.
• Support front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service.
• Dialing espresso grinders and maintaining espresso quality.
• Inputting orders accurately through POS for efficient service.
• Setting up and closing barista and smoothie stations each shift.
• Conduct above-and-beyond training for team members.
• Support additional restaurant tasks as needed.
