Job summary

The role requires Smart Serve certification and experience in a fast-paced setting, with flexibility for varied hours. Proficiency with SevenRooms is a plus, supporting a premier hospitality operation within a sports and entertainment venue.

Qualifications

• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/club environment is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with reservation systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and create a professional first impression.
• Ensure menus, wine lists, and guest materials are clean and ready for service.
• Manage in-person reservations through SevenRooms.
• Collaborate with the Manager to plan seating based on guest preferences and availability.
• Seat guests efficiently according to seating plans and maximize dining room capacity.
• Communicate special requests or dietary needs to ensure smooth coordination.
• Oversee waitlists with accurate wait times and updates.
• Assist with table resetting and peak-time service support.
• Provide support to Bussers, Servers, Bartenders and Managers as needed.
• Address guest feedback courteously and escalate issues when necessary.
• Follow service standards and health and safety guidelines.
