Aloft Montreal Airport, part of Silver Hotel Group, is seeking a Guest Service Agent in Montreal. You will greet guests, manage check-ins/check-outs, and coordinate reservations with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalence.
• At least 1 year of guest service and/or housekeeping experience.
• Flexible working hours.
• Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively with other departments, guests, and vendors.
• Diplomatically handle difficult situations while remaining professional.
• Ability to work with little supervision and meet high performance standards.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests during check-in and check-out procedures.
• Create and cancel reservations and handle check-in/check-out.
• Greet calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Review logbooks and emails daily and complete tasks on the checklist.
• Maintain hotel front desk equipment and stay aware of daily rates.
• Balance and prepare paperwork for shift closing per hotel standards.
• Communicate effectively with all hotel departments.
• Handle registrations and room assignments, accommodating requests when possible.
• Assist guests with inquiries about hotel services, events, and local attractions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or department manager.
