Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a Guest Attendant to support residents with personal care, mobility, and daily routines in our Cambridge/Region of Waterloo community. You’ll play a key role in helping residents feel safe, comfortable, and valued each day.

In this role you’ll work with the Health and Wellness team, assist with meals, laundry, and light housekeeping, and respond empathetically to resident and family concerns while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care, laundry, food service, or support services.
• Secondary school education; post-secondary training in a care field preferred.
• Ability to read, follow, and communicate instructions effectively.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and understanding of seniors’ needs.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and work safely with equipment.
