Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a compassionate Guest Attendant to provide personal care, assist residents with daily routines, and support meals and activities in a safe, dignified environment.

You'll work as part of a dedicated team, maintain high hygiene standards, and follow care plans while responding to resident and family concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care, laundry, food service, or support services.
• Secondary school education; post-secondary training in a care field preferred.
• Ability to read, follow, and communicate instructions effectively.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and understanding of seniors' needs.
• Maintain high hygiene standards, work safely with equipment, and manage time well.

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
• Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of the role
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items
• Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
