Job summary

Scotiabank is hiring an Employee Experience Internship/Co-op for Winter 2027 with Global Transaction Banking (GTB). This term runs January to April 2027 and focuses on supporting the Employee Experience team in shaping global engagement and culture.

You will gain hands-on experience and be paid for your work. As part of the GTB group, you will contribute to engagement initiatives, onboarding, and internal communications while developing skills through learning modules and real-world projects in

Global Transaction Banking (GTB) offers comprehensive business banking solutions on a global basis to small business, commercial and corporate clients of the Bank. This role will be supporting the Employee Experience team.

The Employee Experience team plays a critical role in shaping and delivering the global experience strategy for Global Transaction Banking (GTB) employees. We lead high-impact initiatives that foster engagement, enable performance, and strengthen GTB's culture across a global footprint. Our work ensures alignment with enterprise priorities while driving programs that are scalable, inclusive, and grounded in data and employee insights.

• You will support a range of employee engagement initiatives, including event execution, onboarding activities, maintaining trackers, and assisting with workplace operations. You will also contribute to internal communication needs, including creating and deploying content across channels such as SharePoint.

• You are currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
• You love to learn and envision yourself working for an international organization that heavily invests in your future.
• You enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities such as conferences, clubs, competitions, and/or hackathons.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); experience with SharePoint and collaboration tools is an asset.
• You have excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• You have great attention to detail, and are proactive and responsive to short deadlines.
• You have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a business team.
• You have strong time management skills, along with well-developed analytical and critical thinking skills.
• You have experience working in a task and goal-oriented team environment.
• You have a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situations and a keen desire to learn new concepts.
