Job summary

Swissport International Ltd in Dorval near Montreal is hiring a Certified Mechanic GSE Maintenance to service and maintain fueling service equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations. This role involves preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and on-call support as needed.

You will work on diesel-powered ground support equipment, perform repairs, paint equipment to Swissport standards, and document maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of GSE maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a YUL D/A license.
• Flexible to work shifts including mornings, days, evenings, weekends.
• Certification of completion in Heavy duty/Commercial or Automotive mechanic license in good standing.
• Proficient in diesel engine diagnosis and repair, basic welding, hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on fueling equipment per schedules.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance requests as needed.
• Provide troubleshooting and diagnostics for GSE.
• Overhaul power plant, drivetrain, brakes, electric and hydraulic systems.
• Prepare and paint ground support equipment per Swissport standards.
• Operate diverse equipment and ensure safe serviceability.
• Document maintenance/repair activities per regulatory requirements.
• Maintain compliance with safety and security guidelines.
• Ensure tools and diagnostic equipment are used properly.
• Liaise with Ramp management and staff as needed.
