Job summary

DAVIdsTEA, a fast-growing retailer and wholesaler of specialty tea, is seeking a Growth Marketing Director to own site conversion, demand capture, and lifecycle marketing. Based in Montreal or remote in Canada, you will lead end-to-end optimization of the shopper journey and drive scalable growth.

You will manage paid media budgets, oversee SEO/SEM, email marketing, and loyalty programs, while mentoring a small team and partnering with external agencies to hit efficiency targets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in growth, performance, lifecycle or digital marketing in retail/ecommerce.
• Proven track record managing large paid digital media budgets and hitting targets.
• Strong fluency across paid media, SEO/SEM, email/lifecycle marketing; BI reporting tools.
• Experience running structured A/B and multivariate tests.
• Excellent project management with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bias toward action and iteration over perfection.
• Bonus: marketplaces, affiliate/influencer or loyalty programs.

Responsibilities

• Own site experience, PDP optimization and checkout flow end-to-end.
• Build and run a structured testing roadmap (A/B, multivariate) across pages and offers to improve conversion.
• Optimize site search and tracking reliability.
• Oversee agency relationship and paid media budget with our partner; brief and review targets.
• Ensure accurate media tracking and attribution across paid channels.
• Manage branded search and paid social with CAC/ROAS-optimized spend.
• Own SEO and experiment with AEO for optimization.
• Establish and execute lifecycle marketing strategy incl. retention and loyalty (Frequent Steepers).
• Create a playbook for channel mix, cadence, offers and measurement.
• Mentor and manage a small team of marketing specialists/analysts.
