Job summary

Lightspeed is seeking a Lead Data Analyst, Growth Marketing, to own marketing data reporting and analysis. You will drive new dashboards, report on weekly/monthly KPIs, and structure analyses to address key marketing questions.

This role collaborates across RevOps and Corporate Data while mentoring a small analytics team. The ideal candidate excels in SQL (BigQuery, GCP), BI tools (Looker/Tableau/Power BI), and has strong analytics and business acumen.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL skills with BigQuery and GCP experience.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into data requirements.
• Expertise with Looker or Tableau/Power BI for data visualization.
• Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools.
• Knowledge of conversion rates and marketing metrics.
• Willingness to explore AI solutions to streamline delivery and scale impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new reporting and dashboards to analyze Marketing effectiveness and support full funnel programs.
• Generate reports on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic and content engagement weekly and monthly.
• Structure complex marketing questions and drive insightful analyses.
• Evaluate and improve data quality in Google Analytics, Salesforce, and other systems.
• Collaborate across Marketing to automate processes and accelerate business impact.
• Maintain data integrity and a single source of truth across the business.
• Mentor junior team members on technical and business skills.
