Maple Leaf Foods in Mississauga is seeking a Director of Marketing to own growth strategies for Fresh Poultry, partnering with Revenue Growth Management and Brand teams to drive category performance.

You will coach a marketing team, manage P&Ls, and steer the 4 Ps across Canada, delivering innovative products and private-label bids.

This role requires strategic leadership, commercial acumen and a track record of delivering profitable growth in a fast-paced consumer goods environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead and coach talent to high performance.
• Strong understanding of budget processes and P&Ls.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business plans.
• Experience leading annual business reviews and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Maple Leaf growth agenda for Fresh Poultry and drive profitable share expansion.
• Own general management accountability with direct P&L ownership for the category.
• Coach and lead a team of marketing professionals to execute strategies and meet objectives.
• Maximize category performance across Retail and Foodservice in Canada.
• Develop strategic direction, operating plans, and an innovation agenda for your portfolio.
