Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or industry equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience in Group Underwriting or strong Group Benefits knowledge.
• Experience with developing & delivering adult learning programs.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Desirable professional designations (ACS, FLMI, CEBS) are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide training to new and existing Underwriting staff.
• Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, case studies and presentations.
• Develop structured training programs reflecting needs and learning styles.
• Oversee a structured Quality Assurance program.
• Maintain underwriting guidelines, procedures and process manuals.
• Monitor changes and support staff through updates.
