Job summary

Fairfield by Marriott Calgary Downtown is seeking a Group Sales Manager to handle inquiries, liaise with on-property teams, and close group business within peak room parameters.

You will upsell opportunities, participate in site inspections, and work with events and operations to ensure seamless turnover and high service quality. A strong background in group sales and contract negotiation is required.

Qualifications

• 4 years' experience in sales/marketing or related area.
• 2-year degree in Business/Marketing or related major with 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Handles group sales inquiries and acts as on-property liaison.
• Negotiates contracts to close group business.
• Active upselling of opportunities to maximize revenue.
• Develops group sales revenue budgets and forecasts.
• Ensures seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales.
