Job summary

DGA Careers is seeking a Technical Advisor specializing in Group Insurance to manage technical files, support existing clients and pursue new business opportunities in Quebec. This role emphasizes market submissions, technical analyses and collaboration with carriers and internal teams.

You will contribute to the quality of recommendations, portfolio growth and continuous improvement of internal practices while working in a hybrid or fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Group Benefits (underwriting, pricing, analysis or technical role).
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent numerical skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and comfort with complex spreadsheets.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain data accuracy.
• Collaborative and autonomous with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyze and validate data to prepare technical files.
• Prepare summary tables, analyses and projections using Excel and internal tools.
• Manage market submissions and proposals, including specifications and documents.
• Analyze quotations and participate in negotiations with carriers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions for clients.
• Support portfolio management and client retention growth.
• Prepare client-facing reports and renewal presentations.
• Ensure data accuracy and high quality of deliverables.
• Meet deadlines and follow up on files.
