Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 CIA/SOA professional exams or equivalent.
• Superior analytical skills and expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel with working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Access.
• Skills with programming languages (i.e. VBA, SQL, Python or R).
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional support to our national team of consultants.
• Work on plans in multiple sectors including corporate, multi-employer trusteed, and public sector.
• Collaborate with other analysts in the practice.
• Work with group insurance providers in the Canadian marketplace.
• Independently project manage small or less complex client projects.
• Respond to client queries and build direct relationships with clients.
• Contribute to the ongoing success of the practice and the firm.
• Receive exposure to other practice areas within Eckler.
