Eckler Ltd. / Eckler ltée in Toronto seeks an experienced Consultant to join our Group Benefits Practice. You will apply your technical benefits knowledge, collaborate with teammates across Canada, and help deliver customized solutions to our growing client base.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong Excel/Office skills. Bilingual English/French is an asset; we offer a hybrid work environment and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • The ability to work in both English and French – asset.

Responsibilities

  • Have the opportunity to work on or specialize in plans in multiple sectors including corporate, trusteed and public sector.
  • Work collaboratively with other consultants and other members of the team.
  • Manage day-to-day assigned work and ad hoc projects.
  • Develop and work with various pricing and modelling scenarios.
  • Have the ability to work with the various group insurance carriers in the Canadian marketplace.
  • Have experience with group insurance renewals, financials, and day-to-day plan management activities.
  • Work with our senior technical experts to shape and train our staff of tomorrow through best practices, tools development, and formalized training plans.
  • Contribute to the success of the practice and the firm.

We are looking to add a talented and hardworking Consultant to our dedicated Group Benefits team. This full-time role, based in Toronto, is ideal for someone with superb communication and interpersonal skills, who is highly motivated, has a fine eye for detail and technical accuracy, and can juggle multiple tasks and deliverables.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with some of the best in the industry to deliver customized solutions to Eckler’s growing client base across Canada.

To help support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Consultant to join our Group Benefits Practice. This position would most likely appeal to group insurance underwriters or those with technical group benefits experience who wish to apply their skills and knowledge to help clients directly and to see the impact of their work in real life.
