Job summary

TELUS Health Retirement Consulting is seeking a Group Annuity Administrator to support corporate clients by handling member data, calculating benefits, and processing transactions. The role emphasizes accuracy, data integrity, and timely responses to client inquiries.

Ideal candidates have post-secondary education in Business/Math/Finance/Actuarial Science and up to two years in DB or DC pension administration.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education (preferably in Business, Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science) or another relevant field of study.
• 0-2 years of Defined Benefit or Defined Contribution pension administration experience.
• Sharp analytical thinking and attention to details.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Dedicated team player who demonstrates initiative and independence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French would be an asset.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage transactional activities including member data updates and processing benefit calculations and payments.
• Respond to general queries from clients, members and team.
• Assist with day-to-day requests and instructions.
• Identify, research and resolve data discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain checklists and procedures.
• Take direction from, and support senior team members.
• Support the team with various mandates and special projects.

The Group annuity administrator will work within a team that to provide quality client-focused administrative services for our Corporate clients. Our administration system is a robust recordkeeping platform that supports membership database updates, and provides electronic data interfaces, calculations, and transactions.

What you’ll do

Salary Range: $39,900 - $74,100 CAD Annual Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
