What is the opportunity?
The Group Annuity Administration Manager is responsible for the effective administration of the group annuity business line ensuring adherence to pension plan and contractual requirements. They will work with internal stakeholders, plan sponsors and pension consultants to successfully onboard and implement group annuity deals demonstrating their strong pension background.
What will you do?
•Act as Subject Matter Expert on Pension Administration for all activities involving calculations, statements and annuitant questions
•Ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements in partnership with legal, compliance and finance
•Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including testing of system upgrades and documentation of processes and enhancements
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pension legislation and lead training on legislative changes and their operational impact
•Support integration and review of new annuity client data and ensure plan provisions are set up appropriately into administration system
•Co-ordinate and participate in kick-off meetings with clients and internal stakeholders and ensure implementation timelines are met
What will you need to succeed?
•Minimum 5 years of pension administration/consulting experience
•Strong understanding of pension legislation and commuted value calculations
•Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
•Strong data background
