Job summary

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is seeking a Ground Laborer to keep our luxurious grounds pristine and welcoming. You will perform landscape maintenance, assist irrigation, and operate equipment to maintain outdoor areas that guests enjoy during their stay.

This role requires outdoor work in varied weather, a valid Alberta driver’s license, and prior landscape or gardening experience is a plus. We offer staff perks, accommodation options for full-time status, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid Alberta Driver’s License is required.
• Previous Landscape/Gardening experience is an asset.
• CPR and First Aid Certificates are an asset.
• Ability to work outdoors in rain, heat and snow is required.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards.
• Maintain flower beds and landscape plantings both indoors and outdoors.
• Mow, trim, and water all turf areas of the resort.
• Prepare landscape areas for repair or construction.
• Clean the property — litter, animal waste, recycling, hazard trees and yard debris.
• Plant, fertilize, and apply pesticides as needed.
• Assist irrigation technician when necessary.
• Operate power tools and equipment with proper PPE.

• Other duties as assigned.

Your experience and skills include:

• Valid Alberta Driver’s Licenserequired
