Job summary

Executive Aviation is hiring Ground Handlers at the Campbell River Airport for a seasonal role ending around October 2026. You will support ramp operations, handle baggage, service aircraft, and ensure safety protocols.

The position offers training, a wage range of $19.55 - $22.55 per hour, health benefits for all team members, and flight benefits with partner airlines. Flexible, able to lift up to 70 lbs and work outside in all weather is required.

Qualifications

• Flexible to work shift work including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel and push/pull for extended periods.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs/32 kg.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Safety gear such as steel-toe boots, reflective vest and hearing protection required.
• Must obtain Transport Canada Restricted Area pass, criminal background check, and a clean driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure airline procedures are followed per Transport Canada rules.
• Drive and operate ground service equipment.
• Marshal/wing-walk aircraft to gate.
• Sort, load and offload guest baggage per load plan.
• Deliver baggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor.
• Service aircraft water and lavatories.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove it.
• Groom aircraft, clean cabin, galleys and lavatories, restock supplies.

Executive Aviation is looking for Ground Handlers to work at the Campbell River Airport. We are looking for hands on people, who have flexible availability and who love working with airplanes. We offer a great paid training program. This role would report directly to the Ramp Lead.

This is a seasonal position that will end approximately the end of October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Ensure airline procedures are followed in line with the rules and regulations of Transport Canada
• Drive and operate ground service equipment
• Marshall/wing-walk aircraft to gate
• Sort, load and offload guest baggage in accordance with load plan
• Deliver guest baggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor system
• Service aircraft water and lavatories
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove/dispose of when found
• Grooms aircraft – clean whole cabin, galleys, lavatories, restock lavatory with supplies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Personal flexibility to work shift work which includes early mornings, days, late evenings, weekends and/or holidays
• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel and push and pull for extended periods of time
• A physical ability to consistently lift up to 70 lbs/32kgs
• Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather
• Must wear safety wear – steel toe boots (green patch), reflective vest, and hearing protection
• An ability to meet all conditions of employment:
  • Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada
  • A criminal background check
  • Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driver abstract
