Job summary

Executive Aviation in Sudbury (YSB) is seeking part-time Ground Handlers to support our operations on evenings and weekends. You will assist with ground service tasks, ensuring airline partners are supported and procedures are followed.

Ideal candidates are reliable, flexible, and able to lift up to 70 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and meet tight deadlines. We offer comprehensive benefits and flight privileges with partner airlines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, and move for extended periods.
• Willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must lift up to 70 lbs/32 kg.
• Must work outside in all types of weather.
• Safety footwear (steel toe boots), reflective vest, and hearing protection required.
• Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure airline procedures are followed in line with Transport Canada rules.
• Drive and operate ground service equipment.
• Marshall/wing-walk aircraft to gate.
• Sort, load and offload guest baggage per load plan.
• Deliver guest baggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor system.
• Service aircraft water and lavatories.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and dispose of it when found.
• Groom aircraft — clean cabin, galleys, lavatories, restock supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Ensure airline procedures are followed in line with the rules and regulations of Transport Canada
• Drive and operate ground service equipment
• Marshall/wing-walk aircraft to gate
• Sort, load and offload guest baggage in accordance with load plan
• Deliver guest baggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor system
• Service aircraft water and lavatories
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove/dispose of when found
• Grooms aircraft - clean whole cabin, galleys, lavatories, restock lavatory with supplies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Personal flexibility to work shift work which includes early mornings, days, late evenings, weekends and/or holidays
• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel and push and pull for extended periods of time
• A physical ability to consistently lift up to 70 lbs/32kgs
• Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather
• Must wear safety wear – steel toe boots (green patch), reflective vest, and hearing protection
• An ability to meet all conditions of employment:
  • Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada
  • A criminal background check
  • Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driver abstract
