Job summary

Goodness Me! is hiring a part-time Grocery Team Member for the Brantford location. You will greet customers, help locate items, and offer recommendations as part of delivering friendly service.

Responsibilities include stocking, inventory, display, and general store upkeep, with emphasis on customer satisfaction and a safe workplace. Evening/weekend daytime shifts available.

Qualifications

• Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• The ability to lift, move or maneuver objects up to 25 lbs.
• The ability to stand for extended periods; up to 8 hours per shift.
• Flexibility in availability, including, working evenings, weekends, and daytime shifts.
• While not required, experience in retail is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers, offering help in locating items and making suitable recommendations.
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
• Replace and rotate stock; ensure inventory levels are satisfactory.
• Assist with display of merchandise and inventory management.
• Participate in store maintenance and receive/process warehouse stock.

Your role primarily involves greeting customers, offering help in locating items and making any suggestions or recommendations that may be appropriate. Other tasks and duties you may perform include:

• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
• Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards.
• Replace used stock, rotate current stock, and ensure satisfactory inventory levels.
• Assist with display of merchandise.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Participate in all manner of store maintenance
• Receive and process warehouse stock products.
• Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices

What you bring:
