Job summary

Goodness Me! is seeking a part-time Grocery Team Member for our Guelph store located at 36 Wellington St West. You will greet customers, help locate items and offer recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining product knowledge, stocking, inventory tasks, merchandise displays and general store upkeep. Flexible availability, lifting up to 25 lbs, and a customer-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and daytime shifts
• Retail experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in locating items
• Offer recommendations and product suggestions as appropriate
• Maintain product and service knowledge at a high level
• Keep store conditions up to established standards
• Rotate stock, replace used stock, and manage inventory levels
• Assist with merchandise displays and inventory management
• Participate in store maintenance and upkeep
• Receive and process warehouse stock orders
• Manually load/unload materials from pallets, skids, or platforms

Your role primarily involves greeting customers, offering help in locating items and making any suggestions or recommendations that may be appropriate. Other tasks and duties you may perform include:

• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
• Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards.
• Replace used stock, rotate current stock, and ensure satisfactory inventory levels.
• Assist with display of merchandise.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Participate in all manner of store maintenance
• Receive and process warehouse stock products.
• Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices

What you bring:

• Strong focus on customer satisfaction
• The ability to lift, move or maneuver objects up to 25 lbs.
• The ability to stand for extended periods; up to 8 hours per shift.
• Flexibility in availability, including, working evenings, weekends, and daytime shifts.
• While not required, experience in retail is an asset.

Pay: $17.60
