Job summary

Goodness Me! is hiring at our Guelph location. You will greet customers, help locate items, and suggest suitable products. Maintain product knowledge, keep store standards, rotate stock, and assist with inventory and displays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help locate items; offer recommendations as appropriate.
• Maintain product and service knowledge at a high level.
• Keep store conditions clean and up to standards; rotate stock and manage inventory.
• Assist with display setup and general inventory tasks.
• Participate in store maintenance and receive/process warehouse stock.
• Handle loading/unloading of materials as required.

Your role primarily involves greeting customers, offering help in locating items and making any suggestions or recommendations that may be appropriate. Other tasks and duties you may perform include:

• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
• Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards.
• Replace used stock, rotate current stock, and ensure satisfactory inventory levels.
• Assist with display of merchandise.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Participate in all manner of store maintenance
• Receive and process warehouse stock products.
• Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices

What you bring:

• Strong focus on customer satisfaction
• The ability to lift, move or maneuver objects up to 25 lbs.
• The ability to stand for extended periods; up to 8 hours per shift.
• Flexibility in availability, including, working evenings, weekends, and daytime shifts.
• While not required, experience in retail is an asset.

Pay: $17.60
