Job summary

Safran is hiring at the Mirabel plant for a role involving grinding attachment points on main landing gear components using air-powered hand tools or semi-automatic equipment. The job emphasizes precision to match exact dimensions for fitting with other parts.

You will prepare parts, inspect with calipers/micrometers, document QA, and support safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery goals in a modern manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the part and, if necessary, perform assembly on the equipment.

You will perform, using air-powered hand tools or semi-automatic equipment, the grinding of attachment points of the main landing gear components according to specifications. These operations require a high level of precision to create the exact dimensions to accommodate other mechanical parts.

Evening shift: Monday to Thursday from 2:20 PM to 12:20 AM

Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (day, evening, night, or weekend)

• The salary for this position starts between $27.85 and $37.87 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training and your progression in acquiring job-related skills, the hourly wage will increase up to a maximum of $42.04.
• $1.30/hr bonus
