Job summary

Arup in Toronto is seeking graduates to join a multidisciplinary team delivering design and planning for the built environment. You will design sites using AutoCAD/Civil 3D, model stormwater systems, and coordinate with electrical, geotechnical and structural teams to deliver sustainable outcomes.

We look for a civil engineering degree with a 3.0 GPA and hands-on CAD experience. This is a Canada-based, full-time role offering learning, mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering or relevant engineering field
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher
• Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals
• Experience with CAD software
• Good interpersonal skills for team-based working
• Ability to perform in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
• Excellent planning and organization skills
• Must be eligible to work in Canada without employer sponsorship now or in the future
• Candidate must have no more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role

Responsibilities

• Design and detail sites, roads, drainage systems, utilities, and site grading using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Bentley tools
• Analyze and design stormwater, sanitary, and potable water systems with hydraulic modeling tools
• Research and apply codes, specifications, and standards for design elements
• Coordinate with other teams to deliver sustainable outcomes
• Support development of technical documentation including reports, memos, and calculations
• Engage with project collaborators and clients to develop designs that meet needs and concerns
