Qualifikationen

• Physically capable of performing manual labour including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Aufgaben

• Assist with site preparation, including clearing, leveling, and grading of soil, gravel, and other materials.
• Work alongside equipment to ensure proper ground elevation and slope.
• Use hand tools and small equipment to fine-grade surfaces and prepare areas for paving, roadways, etc.
• Install and maintain grade stakes, string lines, and markers to guide grading operations.
• Load, unload, and distribute construction materials as directed.
• Conduct site clean-up and maintain an organized and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
• Assist with inspections to ensure grading work meets project specifications and standards.

Overview:

The Grading Crew Member is responsible for assisting in the preparation and leveling of ground surfaces for construction, road building, and site development projects. This role supports supervisors in ensuring that surfaces are graded accurately according to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with site preparation, including clearing, leveling, and grading of soil, gravel, and other materials.
• Work alongside equipment to ensure proper ground elevation and slope.
• Use hand tools and small equipment to fine-grade surfaces and prepare areas for paving, roadways…etc.
• Install and maintain grade stakes, string lines, and markers to guide grading operations.
• Load, unload, and distribute construction materials as directed.
• Conduct site clean-up and maintain an organized and safe work environment.
