Localcoin, founded in 2017 with headquarters in Toronto, is expanding its team to strengthen government relations across Canada and internationally. This part-time role (20 hours/week) reports to the Chief Compliance Officer and helps position Localcoin as a trusted participant in the digital asset ecosystem.

Hourly Range: $45 - $80
The Government Relations Professional will be responsible for supporting Localcoin’s engagement with federal and provincial and international government stakeholders, monitoring relevant policy and regulatory developments, and helping position the company as a trusted participant in the digital asset and fintech ecosystem.
This role is ideal for someone with strong federal government relations experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory and political environments.
Reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer, this part-time position is based in Canada and requires approximately 20 hours per week. The role is likely to include occasional travel within Canada and internationally, including Australia, Europe and expansion countries, to support Localcoin's government relations, regulatory engagement, and business priorities.
