Job summary

Eataly in Toronto seeks a Market Lead to coordinate stocking, merchandising and pricing across the retail department, while delivering exceptional guest service and driving sales. Reports to the Market Manager and collaborates with Market Associates.

You will oversee deliveries, signage, FIFO rotation, and inventory; mentor staff and coordinate product demos with Events & Education. On-site role with flexible evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented attitude and ability to work well with a team.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills required.
• Verbal and written communication skills important.

Responsibilities

• Stocks, rotates and faces products according to department standards.
• Collaborates with Warehouse to maintain stock levels and organize back stock.
• Receives deliveries and verifies order accuracy.
• Supervises Market Associates, maintains signage and labeling.
• Rotates products using FIFO; removes expired items.
• Communicates needs and issues to Market Manager.
• Coordinates with Events & Education for product demos.
• Maintains safe, clean work conditions and regulatory compliance.
• Handles payments and ensures accurate accounting of transactions.
