Our client is a growing leader in the IoT, ML, smart device, and AI spaces. Their unique model delivers mission critical software to organizations. They are looking for a Google Cloud Engineer to deploy and integrate product offerings into clients’ enterprise environments.
The Google Cloud Engineer will lead the configuration of proprietary products to prepare for implementation based on customers’ needs and current operating environments (e.g., cloud-based, virtual, and Kubernetes).

Focus:
- Gather and understand client business requirements to develop deployment and implementation plans.
- Leverage VM technologies, cloud-based platforms, and Kubernetes to implement products into existing customer environments.
- Serve as technical subject matter expert on the implementation process.
- Provide L2 and L3 support via service desk to troubleshoot issues with deployments as they arise.
- Create, document, and maintain deployment and implementation processes.
- Support cross-functional teams when working with prospective clients by providing technical insights and recommendations.
Skill Set:
- 5+ years of experience in application engineering, enterprise architecture, and/or software deployments.
- In-depth knowledge of setting up and executing deployments from Google Cloud on Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong background in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with various technologies, including but not limited to:
- Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure environments
- Linux systems and scripting
- REST API product integrations
- Other cloud products
- High-level understanding of network protocols, architecture, and design.
- Background in the industrial, manufacturing, and/or OT industries preferred.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest relevant technologies with continued professional development.
- Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles.
- Proven ability to work quickly in an ever-changing, team-focused environment.
