Job summary

Muskoka Bay Resort is seeking a Golf Course Labourer in the Turf department to help maintain greens, tees, fairways and rough for optimal playing conditions.

Applicants should be able to operate light equipment, work outdoors in all weather, and join a team focused on quality and reliability during busy seasonal periods.

Qualifications

• Prior grounds maintenance experience an asset.
• Must be punctual for early morning start times.
• Ability to perform in a fast paced, physically demanding environment.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must work well in team-oriented environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Mowing and maintenance of greens, tees, fairways and rough.
• Raking and maintenance of sand traps.
• Course set-up.
• Operation of light equipment such as hand power-tools, push mowers, riding mowers, tractors, etc.
• Other turf duties as requested by the golf management team.
• Must be punctual for early morning start times.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform in a fast paced, physically demanding environment.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Position Summary

The Golf Course Labourer for the Turf department is part of the team responsible for maintaining the grounds, turf, and landscaping of the golf course to ensure optimal playing conditions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Mowing and maintenance of greens, tees, fairways and rough.
• Raking and maintenance of sand traps.
• Course set-up.
• Operation of light equipment such as hand power-tools, push mowers, riding mowers, tractors, etc.
